Are you looking for meaningful volunteering opportunities, where you can invest your time, and  contribute towards work you truly believe in? Don’t just sit back wondering how you can make a difference. Volunteer with a program that is working towards changing the mindset of thousands of university students to help them secure jobs and become an active part of the workforce.

We welcome and encourage active community involvement in our program through a variety of volunteering opportunities. Pick the option that suits your availability. To sign up to become a volunteer fill out the form (also given below). If you have any questions, email us on hello@amalacademy.org

We are looking for committed professionals who are looking to contribute their time and expertise in one or more of the following ways:

Virtual Volunteer:

Review applications, interview candidates, and help us vet candidates for the Amal Fellowship.

Time Commitment: 6-7 hours/ month

Review résumé drafts and provide feedback to fellows and/or ask questions based on the individual’s experience, education, target job, and target industry.

In-person Volunteer:

If you are a good motivational speaker, enjoy speaking in front of an audience and have the ability to inspire others through the art of storytelling, this option is for you! Come and share your professional experiences and life lessons with our fellows in any of our sessions.

Time commitment : 3 hours/ month

Help our fellows reach their potential by coaching them. Plan and conduct an activity for our fellows or co-facilitate an activity with us. Our volunteers ordinarily work with us acting as interviewers, assessors or group coaches in an activity.

Time commitment: 5-6 hours/ month

  2. Be prompt and reliable, showing commitment to the work that we do
  3. Cheerful and positive attitude
  4. Strong work ethic and professional behaviour
  5. Maintain a respectful relationship with the students and the Amal team
  6. Notify us of any changes to your commitment as a volunteer
