Support us in scaling career-readiness through Pakistan’s public universities.

Transforming Pakistan’s Education System

Every year, ~450,000 young Pakistanis graduate from university, many having overcome considerable odds to get there. These are the very individuals who should be driving Pakistan's economic and social progress. Yet, nearly one in three young graduates is unemployed, while employers struggle to find candidates with the skills they need.

Much of this gap begins in universities, where students receive limited opportunities to develop the practical skills, confidence, adaptability, and networks needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing workplace. At Amal Academy, we are working to bridge this gap. Over the past 12 years, our Career-Prep Fellowship has helped more than 16,000 underserved young people develop the professional skills, mindsets, and behaviors to navigate meaningful careers and lives.

With your support, we can bring this opportunity to hundreds of thousands of students each year. We are now embedding our proven approach within Pakistan's higher education system, with public universities and their faculty delivering it themselves, eventually as a for-credit course. We are already piloting and have partnered with the Prime Minister's Youth Programme to build a pathway to national scale.

Your contribution will help us build a future where career preparation is an integral part of every student’s university experience.

The Fellowship costs $300 per Fellow. Support a cohort of 50 Fellows at $15,000, or donate whatever you can to support making career-readiness an accessible part of higher education.
